Brand New Fire Emblem Announced for 2026 at Nintendo Direct

Nintendo closed out Nintendo Direct September 2025 with the announcement of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave.

The debut trailer, below, shows off tactical combat, a bunch of cinematics, and teased the story, which happens alongside the “thrilling heroic games.”

Expect a release at some point in 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2.

The Heroic Games have begun. The newest entry in the Fire Emblem series is set to enter the arena. The debut trailer provided a glimpse of the intertwining story, characters and turn-based tactical RPG gameplay that awaits players when the game launches for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
